AUTHOR RILEY TUNE AT THE SOUTH BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY
Author and Halifax County native Riley Tune will be speaking at the South Boston Public Library on December 16 at 1pm.  Riley has written screenplays, short stories, and novels, and is the author of the Warper series of science fiction books.  He will be signing copies of his books at the library.

CLOSING DATES IN DECEMBER AND JANUARY
The library will be closed December 23-26 (this includes a Sunday when the library is normally closed), January 1, and January 15.

FOOD FOR FINES DECEMBER 16-22
The library will once again hold Food for Fines week, December 16-22.  During this time overdue library fines may be paid with non-perishable food times.  One donated item will remove $1.00 in overdue fines from your library account.  All donated items must be in good condition and not out of date.  Food for Fines ony applies to overdue fines and not to any other monies owed to the library.
